Egcobox® cantilever connection system
In modern architecture cantilevers are a very popular construction feature. To prevent thermal bridging, insulated cantilever connection systems have been developed.
Egcobox® was developed in 1980 in Switzerland and has been an approved certificated system since 1997 for preventing thermal bridging between buildings and cantilevered components such as balconies, consoles, walls etc.
The Egcobox® system is impressive in its versatility and has been approved by the construction supervising authorities of the following countries: Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and United Kingdom.
In addition to the well-known and popular standard elements it is also possible to design and produce Egcobox® special element in-line with the individual static and geometrical requirements of your site. Cantilever connectors are manufactured according to the needs of each construction project and elements are supplied directly to the construction site.
Now available – the new version of the free-of-charge Egcobox® software!
Version 2.0 of the FRANK calculation programme for cantilever connectors “Egcobox® Software“ is now available for free-of-charge download. All layout drawings and installation drawings (incl. dimensioning) in the new Egcobox® Software have been completely revised. The software includes our latest product modifications and relevant country standards and also comprises special applications, such as load transmission at points.
