The Dutch subsidiary FRANK Netherlands is founded in Bladel.
2007 FRANK founds new subsidiaries in Canada, Hungary and at Dornbirn in Austria.
An Asia-Pacific (APAC) head office is established in Singapore.
2006 The company adopts the strapline “Technologies for the construction industry”.
FRANK, PECA and EGCO sales departments are unified.
2005 New subsidiaries are founded in Russia and Ukraine. The Middle East Head Office in Dubai is established.
2004 Frank opens a subsidiary including office in Poland and a warehouse in Warsaw.

Dr. Frank becomes MD of Peca. Frank acquires EGCO Switzerland and the products Egcobox® and Egcodorn together with the Acoustic Insulation division. The company celebrates its 40th anniversary.
2001 The Hiendl family steps down from the company’s board.
Dr. Max Frank becomes managing director of the company.

1998 The company celebrates its 35th anniversary.
1997 FRANK Slovakia is founded with a production facility and sales office in Nitra.
1996 FRANK adopts the ISO 9001 quality management system.
1995 Dr. Max Frank joins the board of the company.
The formwork systems division is extended with the addition of Tubbox® column formers and Fratec bespoke formwork.
1993 Dr. Rudolf Hiendl joins the company’s board.
1992 Frank builds a new production hall for reinforcement products together with a new laboratory, showroom and training centre.
1991 FRANK acquires a share in WSF GmbH in Frankfurt an der Oder
1990 The threaded steel coupler system is introduced in the market.
FRANK is appointed as exclusive distributor for Zemdrain® by DUPONT.

1989 FRANK builds up a sales network in Eastern Germany.
Development of the new sealing systems product range starts with the Intec injection hose.
An additional production hall for fibre concrete production is built.
1988 FRANK becomes a partner of CHIEMGAUER SCHALUNGSBEDARF and BERGER BAU- UND INDUSTRIEBEDARF - distributors of construction machinery and formwork - in Traunstein (Germany).
1987 The company celebrates its 25th anniversary. FRANK acquires a share in
P HAHN GmbH & Co. KG, in Frechen (Germany).
The company FRANK Italy GmbH S.r.l. is founded.
1985 An administrative building and second production hall is opened in Leiblfing.
1984 The Rebar Couplerbox company is founded in Houston, Texas.
FRANK acquires PECA in Pressig (Germany).
1983 A warehouse is opened in Affi (nr. Verona, Italy).
1982 FRANK develops the rebar connection system Stabox® in conjunction with PLAKABETON.
1980 The company establishes a comprehensive external sales network in Germany.

1979 The business relationship with Helmut Ausserhofer commences in Italy.
1976 The company commences business in England through CRETECO in Stoke on Trent.
1972 Foundation of international partner companies with their own production facilities.
The first step in this direction is taken through ABSTA in St. Pölten in Austria - the production of fibre concrete products in the new production hall starts ten years after FRANK’s foundation.
1971 Purchase of the land currently occupied by the company and erection of first production facilities.
Also, FRANK acquires a share of FRINGS – a construction accessories distributor in Erkrath (Germany).

1969 The first international distributor conference takes place on 2nd September in Straubing.
1968 The concrete release agent Nox Crete Form from the United States becomes part of the FRANK product range.
Start of the partnership with the Belgium company PLAKABETON.
1965 The company becomes a LLP (GmbH & Co. KG.), owned by the Hiendl and Frank families.
Mr. Hiendl is in charge of production and product development and Mr. Frank is responsible for sales and all other business functions.
1964 Production had temporarily taken place in a stable but now moves to a former lumber-mill rented for the purpose.
A dealer network is gradually being built up in Germany.
1963 A variety of spacer types are added to the FRANK product range.
The company participates for the first time at the BAUMA exhibition in Munich.
1962 The company is founded on 12th November 1962 by Max Frank.
Its first product is the distance tube.
